Out the door this am and water boiling up out of the middle of the drive. Oh, @#%$^...
So a digging I went, after the wife got off to town and daughter to school.
Top 10" white rock so had to use a pick ax to start then 20 more inches of red clay.
What a project for the day...and it only hit 99 on the thermometer so it was a regular fall day. (again NOT) Sweated like a pig. (I know, pigs don't sweat, it's just a term)
Next time I dig I hope it is for coins or something better than a leaking piece of PVC.

Oh, well, things can only improve from a start like this.

Aw, the white rock ain't that bad. But I wish ever body here could share the experience of diggin in that red clay. Feel for ya bud. It's almost up to 60 here right now.
