Nickels, Dimes,& Quarters

Yesterday I picked up and searched the following
$118.00 in Nickels = 2 War Nickels
$110.00 in Dimes = 2 Rosies
$1100.00 in Quarters = Skunk

This was the first time I tried nickels this year and it was fun searching something different.

nickels are a nice break from the halves...but i always enjoy going back to halves after seaching nickels. makes me appreciate "big silver"...

Great score on the nickels and dimes , no suprise on the quarter skunk.
I prefer searching halves and cents, but have a few boxes of nickels waiting to search at some point. If the melt ban were lifted today, those $100 boxes of nickels would be worth $140 melt.

I like nickels b/c besides war nicks, you can find buffalos, Vs, maybe even a Shield. But the one time I tried a box, I was beat and my eyes hurt from looking at all those hard to read dates. I definitely prefer cents and halves (of course). I do dimes mostly in small batches, might have to try a box. And I'd love to do quarters some time but I just don't have the liquid cash to. Plus, the percentages seem terrible.
