went tru my last twp boxes no silver or "s", but noticed a bunch of 2014 NIFC, in bad shape. I wonder how or when the mint releases them, and do they destroy the silver ones similar to retiring the old bills. or are these from collectors releasing their own coins, I think its the mint . Whats your thoughts. Hope I don't continue to get skunked.

The mint doesn't pull coins to release more. They're either released by collectors and or the mint. Bills have a much shorter life span.

Exactly right. Some poor collector probably dumped them after he realized they were worth no more than $10 a roll.
