Wow - I guess I won a new BMW... :o

"BMW Company International Awareness PromotionAwards (£750,000.00GBP) and a new BMW X6 35iM Car to your email address, Contact claims director David Brown, with your Full name/Contact address/Sex/Tel/Occupation/Age/Countryvia: bmwawarenessuk@<removed>.com Regards, Mrs(Engr) Joy Belt"

I wonder how I'm going to get it out of my email inbox.... ???

Sounds like you need to take some TP and give your email inbox a swipe or 2 :coffee2:

Yesterday in St Cloud, Minn, an elderly woman went into a WalMart store to get a $500 money order. The clerk got a little suspicious and questioned her. It seemed that she was going to send the M O to get her millions of dollars from a foreign country. She was talked out of it. It's amazing how many people go for the countless scams, and those taken won't admit it or report it due to embarassment. (Now I have this diamond ring valued at $15,000 that I'll let you have for only...........)

This is a reminder that email address's don't win anything. If you get a message from an email that claims your a winner, delete it if there is no well known company name attach to it. Even then, contact the company by phone to see if that contest by email is for real before opening it. If there is no company logo...delete without opening it.

Scammers will do anything to get your money. You are a treasure hunter and should be finding money and not giving it away after you worked so hard to get it in your possession.

The worse virus I ever had on my computer came from opening an email I didn't recognize the sender. If you don't know 'em don't open 'em! Monty

Dam- Goose, no wonder my $500 never showed up. I'm going to boycot WalMart because of their nosey clerk.

Don Jose de La Mancha

Do they have Walmarts in Mexico?

;D ;D ;D ;D

Believe it or not, one of the worst virus' I ever got on my computer was from my sister.

She was just learning about computers, and she forwarded me an email SHE had gotten, to see if it was good or bad. Of course, she didn't say that in the email - she just forwarded it - and I opened her email. Arghh!

Then she called me to ask me if I got it! :BangHead:

We just got one this morning from Mrs Grace Johnson. I opened it when the e-mail turned on and thought it was from
one of the ladies Karen works with until I noticed the first few lines. According to the letter, she lives in
Kuwait, her beloved husband died a year ago of a heart attack. He had been a big oil man and left her 20
million dollars and according to her doctor she has only about 2 months to live because of breast cancer in
it's worst stage. She wants to distrubute the money to the needy but doesn't have the time or energy so she
found our e-mail address by looking at the directory and wants us to keep 20 percent and distribute the rest to
certain causes she lists.
She wants all our mailing info so she can send it to us right away. It's such an obvious scam, I was going
to leave it and let Karen read it after she gets home. After reading these replies here, I just went back and
deleted it. I hope we don't get one of those viruses from opening it.
