Bring a flashlight, or just hunt in a full moon :icon_thumright:

P.S. If you hunt under a full moon, just beware of the werewolves :tongue3:

Idk what kind of hunting are you talking about? It depends I guess. I would if I had a partner. How far are you from me?

wow, you guys are nearly 200 miles apart.

If you do decide to meet up, it'll be light, so you won't need a flashlight :icon_thumright: :tongue3:

Take a good pinponter and digger. My pinpointer had a led light on it to light up holes. I also have a back light screen on my F75. Head phones, and gps so you can find the pickup when your done. Good Luck.

I like to hunt at night, but only when it's dark. You must be an expert pinpointer and have excellent recovery skills, so as not to hack up the place too bad. A flashlight helps to make sure the hole is filled back cleanly without any trace of digging, which is tougher to do at night. Try it, you will like it.

I like hunting at night, not many "eyes" looking at you and wondering "whats he doing". Just make sure you have a light and a good pin pointer!

I hunt at night all the time. So peaceful, so serene, no busy-body lookie-lous, etc.... Here's my tip: do not use a light of ANY kind. Not even a back-lit screen. The reason is, that by having any sort of light, your eyes become adjusted to that, and pretty soon you'll go blind to everything else around you. Better to let your eyes adjust to the moon-light, and then you'll see good enough to see around bushes, obstructions, etc.... You can have a little light to see the dates on coins, or whatever, but only-as-needed.

also, by having a miners lamp headlight, or back-lit screen, it simply attracts attention from passerbys anyhow.

bring a lantern, you can adjust the light and fight off the bugs.:headbang:

I'm too old to hunt at night...I need my sleep! But, they sell little LED lights that clip onto the bill of a ball cap. You can turn them off and on as needed. Then you just move your head and the light follows your eyes. Happy Night Hunting!
