Scored my first beach find today! A beautiful broken tip laying right in the wrack line. Surprisingly doesn't even look water tumbled. I found many chips and flakes around it, and this other piece. I've never found pottery before, so I don't know much what to look for, but I'm thinking this other piece might be pottery? I have pictures of the front side, back side, and cross section below. It has a curve to it and looks to have some stones or grit embedded in it. Opinions welcomed.

off to a great start!

I found more of that potential pottery material this morning including one with a hole in it. The hole clearly tapers in from one side and pokes out the other. Let me know what you all think!
