I got in a few quick hunts this week, I found what I think is a no date Milled Pillar type Spanish coin but can not see a date and am afraid nothing will be left if I try any cleaning method on it. I had to work yesterday (Sat) and stopped at a school on the way home where I found the NJ copper behind a backstop under some roots. I hoped it was an old copper so I started to do the cleaning method posted by the Don in SJ, after I realized what it was I stopped cleaning it. They both are in tough shape but they do look a little better than the pics show. Thanks for looking and HH.

Soak the copper in veg or olive oil for a few days and it will bring the high points back it works.
