nm turtle?..what do you think?

i did not take this picture ..found it on the net. Does it look like anything to you? This is quite a bit north in the state.

This appears to be located in the Bisti Badlands formation way up in the NW. Turtle? No, natural hoodoo, IMHO.

The big loose stone on top was placed as a landmark the smaller hooked stone to the right is the pointer and was carved out of the top of a hoodoo.

Maybe... maybe not. It does fit the profile, if it is then it is pointing to the next trail mark; should be visible from that point and not over 1/4 or 1/2 mile. If there is no additional markers then it's probably natural. (No daylight passage under it would mean it is pointing the trail out; so you might want to look behind it also)
