I have been using drones for quite a few years . I just thought maybe some of you might like to know of some of the common uses.
You can do a GREAT Job of roof inspections I fly over a roof and just get enough of the roof in the picture then take a snap shot of it. Then go back home put it on a computer screen and then you can blow up the picture and do a great job of inspecting it. Save this picture then open it up and you can zoom in on a single shingle

I am just going to give you a few examples of some drone uses Here is one i spotted deer in my pasture i sent a drone over them ; i could onl

For 2 to 3 years i was trying to find a old home foundation. I knew about where it was but I was never able to locate it. Then after the leavers were off off the trees I sent a drone up As you can see There is MANY uses for them

I have had so Many different uses . I once got called to find a couple of horses that had gotten away, They had been gone for 4 days. I took a drone over and in less then 5 minutes I spotted them Maybe 1/2 to one mile away fenced into someone else's field, We took my 4 wheeler went and got them BOY were they happy and tickled.

A FEW more things to mention. Make sure if you get one it has GPS cape abilities . Reason being when you let go of the control sticks you want to to stay where it is at

I have more pictures of different uses if you would like to see them

Yes, please share more!

My area.

This is Buffington Island Ohio John Hunt Morgan had a battle here in 1863 . He lost around 2,000 of his troops here. Most had been captured . This is where Morgans Raid came through this part of Ohio

Gare, thank you for sharing things about drone usage.

I think a drone could help me a lot when exploring areas; I could save energy and time when prospecting.

Please let me know, if some day you will be selling yours.

☺️

No I will not be selling mine. I would Recommend The DJI Avata 2 Be sure to get 3 or 4 extra Batteries . They usually Last 20 to 30 minutes per battery

Does your drone use a laptop so you can actually see live what the drone camera is seeing? That’s the kind I would want. What models have that feature? Just having a go pro you had to play back later would be less interesting but probably a cheaper option. I flew a friend’s Mavica once with no cameras and it was much easier than my RC airplanes.

Todd I have 4 IPADS that i use to fly mine. They give me a great picture. If you lived close to me I would teach you how to fly one in less then 10 minutes. The GPS ability is VERY IMPORTANT !!!! Most DJI drones have that feature of seeing what the drone sees. Some of mine have Aircraft avoidance . If it comes to a SOLID object it will stop. But trees and chain link fence will stop it from flying into them

I use mine for work, play... (above) surveying, prospecting etc. A friend of mine has a drone with LiDAR... tough learning curve but that's my next drone!!

Do you have any idea the cost of a LIDAR ONE Mr Viking ?

Was that one of those battles where they just face off in lines and whomever still has men standing wins?
I'll never for the life of me understand the logic of those gun battles.
