No Coat of Many Colors

So, with all the wind, I wore my coat of many layers! I must've weighed a good twenty extra pounds! LoL!

Anyway, with ole man winter knocking on the door, I figured I'd better get as many walks as I'm able.

Good/busy day for digging coins:

Fishing weight? Scale? :dontknow:

Fishy's still snatching the shiny, shiny.

Somebody please!! Tell me this is some sort of piece of an ancient medal or something! CSM? What could that be

I know! I know!! It stands for the Confederate States of uhhhhhhhh 'Merica? No!!! OF MARYLAND!!! THAT'S IT!!! :tongue3:

Anyhoo, its solid silver with no marks anywhere!!
Weighs in at 5 full grams.

This is why Fishy is getting away with taking the shiny shiny!

But....sort of...semi seriously. I *know* this is silver. But, there are no purity marks anywhere! And......the old style script letters? Makes one wonder....don't it.

Actually, they're not really insulated. They are sort of rubberized a bit though. Also, I carry a couple of those hand warmer bags too.

About the clad? First I tend to walk in very modern areas and second, I *do* seem to have a "knack" for hearing them. I swear! I could find a zincoln on the Mayflower!!!! :tongue3:

Interesting little weight thing.

Maybe the silver star is off a bracelet, jewelry or some such thing, the script is fancy.

But its your find, if you're going with ancient, old, extremely valuable, i will back you on it.
