So , it's safe to say I cut down our competition for future generations . I took my sister's boys and my own for a 3 hour detecting trek through rain soaked muddy woods. We got chewed up , soaked, covered in ticks, and I
Literally had slugs in my pant cuffs. And this is what we had to show for it



A 1993 penny and a hollow brass ball... Lol. And a few screws the kids redropped. My nephew said the funnest part was gonna be picking the ticks off each other ... Lmao . Smarta**:0

You might be surprised. When I was a boy, we would dig for treasure, without metal detectors, never found much, but always had fun anyway.

The important thing is you tried, spent some time with them, and got them out in the woods, away from all the electronic gadgetry. Don't give up, next time will be better.
