Found this brass plate with a man's portrait in it the picture is of a man from mid cheast up with short hair and wearing a suit. I'm leaning to that its a printing plate not sure tho any ideas?

Yeppers, I would say it's a printing plate too, and judging by his clothes, I'd say it was during the late Victorian period. Neat find Breezie
