im thinking it part of a retainer for concrete forms.


like the kind you'd use when you pour basement walls or foundations

Looks like it is a 'keeper' or clip to hold two items together. Each would have a bump or depression that the similar feature of the mystery piece would fit in. Don't know about the four other small round features. Is it springy?

Looks like a finger pull for a pocket door to me. For you non-architect students....pocket doors were very popular back in the day because they actually slid into and out of the wall.

I've done some renovation work on old homes and seen similarly designed pocket door pulls.

The slot would be a perfect Dust collector?? Tooth pick holder?? :laughing7:
