We WILL have a white Christmas . Very slick driving. The birds did not care if the dog was there they were going to eat! My Dixie dog finally decided this could be fun, after we got her away from the wood stove . We have over 10" of NEW snow and she is still coming down . There is another 1-2 feet coming Sat night .

Let's have a white Christmas!

this is my worst nightmare
And the weekend looks horrifying, too
I remember last year,
a week before Christmas, metal detecting, no snow,,,no frozen ground !
Even my youngest daughter; who always loved winter,
came home today complaining about the snow.
I said, "ya, but isn't it pretty?"
I about fell over when she said ...."NO" hahaha
Then she proceeded to say her foot hurt, her knee ached and
she froze her hands cleaning off her car...

Beautiful Pics-- Here the weather was supposed to have ice but it hit south Okc has 300,000 with out electric, we,ve been in the 30's, but they say in the am were supposed to start getting snow, most likely if we do it will be all melted by Christmas, since by next Wed. were going to be in the 50s, Gee! But you have a very beautiful and MERRYCHRISTMAS

White Christmas would be nice, but I have gotten so used to no snow on Christmas I am not sure I would like one anymore.

We have been travelling back to Reading Pa for Christmas for over 37 years and I do not remember having to cancel once for snow. So even my home area has had very few white Christmas's in the past several decades......

Merry Christmas folks! It sure is pretty today . Got it all cleaned up in record time, thankfully it was light and fluffy. I wish I could send some off to you folks without it, sure do have plenty to share.

Yeah I need to put Micki on a diet . She was skin and bones 4 months ago when we got her, you could see every rib, now I'm not sure she has any ribs . Gerry made a special trip to the store today for a soup bone to cook for her, so it's not ALL my fault.

The birds are a gold finch, junco's and the ones in the tree with the snow building up on them are just morning doves. Dang chickadee's won't sit still long enough for a shot .

Sat. nights storm has changed. Snow, then sleet and freezing rain, so the accumulation will be less Ashleen, but it will be much harder to move with the layers of ice. Your poor daughter will be real sore after this next one. GOOD LUCK!

Oh but wait, there is more! She seems to be getting used to the snow and realizing it's kind of fun .

Another 10" last night and now it's sleet, freezing rain, back to snow, can't make up it's mind what it wants to do. Gonna be July before we thaw out!

One year while stationed in Arizona at Davis-Monthan AFB, We wished for a white Christmas just to have a change. We got our wish. Woke up the next moring after 4 inches fell on the ground. Don't think I'll wish this time in Calif cuz it might happern. Love all the pics though, brings back many fun childhood memories and nightmares sliding down the hill to the bottom in a snow storm with no sled....Thakns for all of your pics.

Well, we are in trouble now, all that snow............now it's raining HARD, 2-3 inches of rain predicted, shovel off the porch roofs, or else. Urgh, it's a good thing it's 37 degrees . I hope it doesn't get any colder?
