I hunted two places this weekend. The first place was a sidewalk cut in San Francisco that I thought would have some silver for sure. A couple of years ago I had dug
seated and barber dimes in the same area. I was disappointed finding 6 wheat pennies and some clad coins in the cut. near the cut I did manage a silver ring.
Swinging through some ivy I dug down about 6 inches for a big 1877 penny from Great Britain.
Today I got some permission to hunt a house that was built in 1962. I did not think at first it was old enough for some silver to be present, but I was wrong!
In the backyard I dug a 1953-S dime and a 1945-S quarter! Also dig 2 wheaties and some tokens. So you can never know until you hunt it!
