I hunted two places this weekend. The first place was a sidewalk cut in San Francisco that I thought would have some silver for sure. A couple of years ago I had dug
seated and barber dimes in the same area. I was disappointed finding 6 wheat pennies and some clad coins in the cut. near the cut I did manage a silver ring.
Swinging through some ivy I dug down about 6 inches for a big 1877 penny from Great Britain.

Today I got some permission to hunt a house that was built in 1962. I did not think at first it was old enough for some silver to be present, but I was wrong!:laughing7:
In the backyard I dug a 1953-S dime and a 1945-S quarter! Also dig 2 wheaties and some tokens. So you can never know until you hunt it!

Sweat finds nice ring and silver good start for 2020 Im hoping to get out more this year myself. Keep up the great finds you do the hard work for a;ll those cool finds permissions and the curb strips seem to do good for you. Hope 2020 is another great year Tommy

Congratulations on a good hunt. Your British penny has a counter stamp which makes it an even cooler find. It looks like J BUCKLEY. Way to go and keep swingin.
