Too bad economics is not taught in schools. Young people often have no clue about such things.
Actually neither do many older people.

The don't teach sound economics anyways, just Keynesian hocus pocus mentioned in passing. They don't teach civics either. Ask anybody under 30 years old what the three branches of government are. Be prepared to wince.
