Interesting demonstration!

I ended up getting that LD22 and pulled a Merc with it yesterday at an abandoned lot <5 minutes from my house. Spot with the silver was a thin layer of fill over the orginal gravel drive and I'd only skimmed it with the LD22 per lack of time. I went back over the same small area carefully with the 8x5 elliptical and pulled another handful of clad....but nothing earlier than 1971.

Still, that little elliptical is monster. It'll hit the same same 0.04g gold flake that only the 6" round will see on the original Legend.
