I am still holding all my non ferrous. I am hauling in loads of shreadables at 80 dollars a ton. I wish prices were up, but its still free money.

I'm still sitting on a ton of non-ferrous. My 10X12 shed is full of rubbermaid bins full of stuff. I also have stuff in my friends barn down the street. I just got rid of that stuff to make room in the garage so I could get some stuff stripped out. Heres an estimate of what I am sitting on
#1 Copper------400-600 pounds
#2 Copper------300-500 pounds
ICW#2 <solid strand> 500-700 pounds
ICW#3 <braided>-----800-1000 pounds
Romex--------300-400 pounds
Brass-------800-1000 pounds
Stainless----600-800 pounds
Cast Alum----600 pounds
Sheet copper---200 pounds
carbide------250 pounds-----last time I checked they were paying$5.87 a pound
Batteries------close to 100
10 cat cons
Lead ------1000 pounds

So if prices ever recover I will need an armed gaurd to escort me home

Jeff

just to learn from a master scrapper, I'll do it for free!!!!!

where and in what can you find the carbide. I know they use something like that in oil field tools, but maybe thats tungsten carbide.
