Sunny, calm and 60 Degree temps in the SC Lowcountry today! So, my wife and I decided to bring the boat out of hibernation this afternoon. Hit one of our favorite, remote beaches about an hour before low tide and searched until about an hour after dead low tide. Found a nice selection of pre-historic sharks' teeth. Also found a few whale teeth, a couple crocodile teeth and many small mammal bones (not pictured). Saw quite a few fishing sinkers laying on the hardpacked bottom....so, might be a good spot to hit with the detector!!! Wish I had a water detector, as I hate to expose my Etrac to that salty mist.

Anyway, not a traditional post, but thought you folks up north in the snow might like to see some southern finds. Most were picked up in 6" to 2' of water depth. We use waders to ease through the clear water looking for these.

That is so cool. I think it's great to see the non metallic, "todays finds" posted here! Treasure is treasure, and these are no exception Robert. I sure would like some of those in a display case. Next time I come down, we will have to go out. Take care buddy.

Great finds, I love to hunt for sharks teeth. We even find a few up here in the Shenandoah river. Thanks for the view.

Thanks! We had a great time out there today. Also found what I believe is a small pre-form flint point today too.

Mike, will definitely put some Sharks Teeth in your display case the next time you are down here!!!

Nice finds. As a kid my father took me to Calvert Cliffs in Maryland where we always found fossils and shark teeth along the beach. Sure did bring back memories.

That's a nice mess of teeth ya got there.

Cool finds :icon_thumright: I am in the upper part of the state, it seems like the low country is where it is at for relic hunting, beach detecting, bottle hunting, and now I will add another one to the list shark teeth collecting. You guys are a lucky bunch.
