Noob prospector from Norcal...

Hello Treasurenet community. Just started Gold Panning & prospecting Northern California. Mainly Auburn / Forresthill area..

I bought my first gold pan 3 mos ago, found 1 small speck of gold and was hooked !

Just finished my attempt at a fluid bed sluice. Used for first time last weekend at Iowa Hill Bridge / Pennyweight Trail. Pretty happy w/ operation & results, although no idea how much I "should" find, nor really how to operate this sluice I just built. Learning as I go, but could not have found what I have without all of the post's on this site.
Figured since I got the info here, I would post my results ! Great Work TreasureNet !!!

The black pan was from saturday, green pan sunday.
