Is this club for gold prospecting only or is it MD in general? I live in the Decatur, AL area and am new to MD. I would love to join you at the meetings if newbies are welcome. I have and X-Terra 70 and am just learning about it as it is my first detector.

We are a chapter of the GPAA, which is....Gold Prospectors Association of America.... but we also use Detectors and have a coin shoot at least once a year and alot of members go MD'ing at other times and places, you are welcome to join us, the coin shoot will be held in Nov. on 2nd Sat.
