Has anyone ever gone to north park in Pittsburgh to detect? Anyone know if a permit is required?

Allegheny county is very....vague on their do's and do not's in regard to MD'ing in parks. Most have the wordage as " no defacing soil, grass etc". I just opt to hunt outside of the county because anyone can bend the rules to say no to md'ing. Just my 2c.
