Not a bad time to visit your friendly neighborhood scrap yard

With copper's spot price exceeding $4/lb for the first time in a while, I thought it would be a good time to take my modest 2020 haul of dug brass, copper, and lead to the scrap yard in my neighborhood. $60 will buy some batteries and kneepads!

Just did my recycling run! 32 pounds copper, 87 pounds brass, 86 pounds lead! When I looked at the buckets they didn’t look anywhere near as heavy as they were! Got over $300 for it all.
