This reminds me very much of a small medallion I found. Note how the backs are very similar and you have a blank space in the front where a central additional image would go.

Is there a place on the rim of your where a loop would have broken off?

Note, mine is smaller, about the size of a US Nickel. The central metal piece on mine fell off after I dug it, just as yours seems to have done.

Mine is for something named "Old Grand Dad Club"

I've drank old grand dad, and I probably would not join their club. :wink:

That would make sense Kevo :icon_thumright: But the whole edge is smooth like a coin.
Don't see any place a loop would have been :dontknow:
