Here is a tip... GET A GOOD PINPOINTER, Learn to use a screwdriver to locate and pop out targets that are not very deep, When you get a good target, use the pinpointer to locate exactly where it is and the screwdriver to locate in the ground, you can feel it and once you know what your doing, you can tell the difference between metal and rocks, pop it out or round the hole and use your finger to get the target out...
Great tips, thank you. I have two Garrett pinpointers. Orange and black. I must admit, I’m not a big fan of the carrot. I like the simpler easier to use black one instead. That orange one seems like it’s always beeping for some reason or another. I know there are six settings and it needs to be ground balanced, but I swear it has a mind of its own. 🤪

very nice looking ring and I agree the stone is attractive.

I can't comment on the rarity of finding a class ring, but I have not found any.
