Went to the park yesterday and hit an old hillside that used to be a silver mine. Haven't hit it in about a dozen years since the barbers and mercs gave out there. Erosion due to goose overload has taken it's toll and I finally decided to give it another whack.
Apparently some cherry-picker had the same idea first. Pulltabs, nickels and mems where on the plate. No big surprise I thought the silver would be thin. But it didn't show. Instead I got a heckuva hit about 6" deep and was ready for my keeper. Plunging in to the rock hard exposed base dirt I found strangely soft soil, a pre-dug hole. Cut roots were apparent. Very recent dig! So why hadn't they recovered this target? Because they had placed it there.
Six shiny mem cents covered in goose poop at the bottom of the hole. Some people have all the fun.
