My buddy and I tried to pluck out some more goodies today but, not much fortune came our way. I managed a smashed lead pistol or rifle ball, a few other ???, and the one cute tiny flat button. I was working the iron infested spot where the cabin must have been for all the square nails every few inches. Not getting barely any nonferrous hits on my machine I did enjoy squeaking out the flat button. I do love old buttons. I wished for some stamping on the rear but, none. I reckon it's quite old for Americanna and that's enough to put a smile on my mug. I hope ya'll faired better than we did today. I'll go and take a gander and see what was recovered today. Nice button. Sometimes for me that's all it takes. Thanks for posting.

Round & green is usually enough to qualify as a good day out. This button certainly trumps most wheat pennies.
