Not much to "crow" about these days, but I did manage an SL in wet sand yesterd

Hi:hello2:

All these gorgeous finds being posted are keeping me interested in this hobby; so many great finds...congrats to all!

Haven't been out much due to poor weather conditions, but yesterday was sunny with a slight breeze , so I went out for a couple of hours...beaches here are still very sanded in , so I stuck to the wet sand slope.

Found a heavily tarnished S L ( no clear visible date / no visible stars under the eagle; maybe could be 1930) .This is one of my favorite coins.

That coin gave off such a nice , clean high tone on the GT...great to hear the tone.

Here's a couple of pics

Thanks for looking

Nice finds lorraine.

Nice, especially on a quick hunt.

Lorraine I'd be crowing about finding a SLQ!! It is high on my wish list! congrats

Sure is neat to find those old coins (and spoons).

silver is always good!

A little toasted but nice and old anyway. It's amazing how much old stuff you coastal folks are still able to find.
