Well while my comp was broke I went on a hunt Thursday. Didnt find much....no arrowheads anyway.I got the smallest scraper I have ever found made from a reduction flake but it is thick and not flat. I got a flake tool with secondary flaking on the edges with some cortex on both ends so the stone was just that big when it was made. I got 2 cores. The others well, Dam....Its.
I will show my bucket in this as to how full it is getting. Its my Dam...It bucket.

Pretty nice haul rock! Like that multi colored material.

Wont be long before you won't be able to see the bottom of the bucket. I have to pick up everything that shows modification too.

I've only been doing this for a month now and I'm starting to build a nice collection of bits and flakes too. I almost feel that I am obligated to pick the stuff up to pay homage to the person who likely worked it years ago...maybe one day I'll make some piece of art with them.

Here's an idea.

Yeah it is sad when you see a nice piece of flint poking up and you pull it just to find half of it. I actually keep a flat head screwdriver in my pocket and poke it slowly where I pulled the broken piece hoping to feel a tap of the other half but so far it isnt working. Maybe one day it will. Thanks for the kind replies everyone.
