I found this next to a pond while fishing back last
summer. It measures 5 inches long and weighs about
6 ounces, but im not sure what it is, if its even
really indian or prehistoric. Its not flint, but
more like stone.
Thanks for looking,
Allen

It looks like it is a sliver of well weathered limestone, to me. No apparent "use" ware or modification. It could have be tied to a prehistoric fishing net as a "net weight", but usually the weights were "notched".

Here is the way I look at it... I find that same type stuff on my camp sites. They had to being doing something with it. I always wondered cause I find in a fire pit.,or very close..... HMMM

hi there,it looks like a good digger to me...jamey
