Day use fee is $10 per day - annual pass just went up to $150 according to the ranger I spoke with at Yankee Jim's at the weekend.
If you just want access to the river though, and don't mind walking a bit further, just park outside the fee area (there are signs when entering the fee area). Both Yankee Jim's and Mineral bar have turnouts further up the road that you can park at, probably a half mile up the hill or so. I'm lazy, so I pay the $10 :P
