Nothing but clad. But, ya know, I'll take it!

I just could not stand being in my house any longer! Especially since they started bringing up that four letter word yet again!!

So, I layered up, packed my jackhammer, (fortunately, I was able to get by without using it but just barely)

Got out to a favorite schoolhouse for a couple hours. Didn't find too much but, ya know, considering the alternatives, I'm quite happy!



Fortunately, Blingie was still taking a hibernation nap when I got home. Might not have gotten thru the door. LOL



Anyhoo, thanks for peeking. I think I need a bit of a hibernation now. Ice dirt fishing is TOUGH!!

Congrats on finds and being able to sneak back into the house!
I hear ya I was prepared go out in the rain and snow, fortunately no snow or rain, but somebody forgot to tell the ground that it was supposed to thaw!!!! Anything below 2" was frozen solid! I improvised a make shift jack hammer by hitting my screw driver with my digger. Ended up with blisters....note to self, wear gloves next time!
Got clad and junk ring at the new school, but still HAPPY HAPPY to have gotten out, and FOUND anything!

I need to learn how to post pics.

Glad for clad is good enough when you are jonesing to get out I myself am having detecting withdrawals as my machine is at Garrett's they are trying to find the problem with it and the sad part is I'll be gone for 2 months straight when it comes home.

Yeah, after I dug a few dirt-cicles I was pretty tired too. Didn't forget about that part, just selectively chose to not remember. Otherwise, I might not have convinced myself to go. LOL

About the gloves? I'm aghast!! Always, but ALWAYS wear gloves!!! Just too many hazards are dug up from the ground. Some are deadly! The gloves might not provide total protection, but they couldn't hoit!
