Tried out a new place today an old house site long since gone. Man I have never seen so much Small Iron, broken glass and pottery shards. No new trash though. I felt pretty pumped when My brother KirKTN as you all know him, litterally set his coil down not 30 seconds out of the truck and found a SLQ. I was pumped thinking OH MAN this is gonna be good. Needless to say the old Pro XL KirkTN was swinging was pulling coins all day while the Explorer 2 and Vaquero I brought along was going Ape-sh-t. I finally got the Explorer 2 cut down to 12 on sensitivity and slowly weeded through. The Vaquero however was having no part of it. Every piece of Iron from a quarter size up slipped right through its Disc. I did manage one old token pretty cool. Then to make matters worse the last hole KirkTN dug was a CW Eagle button. I called him a Jerk, For kicking my arse so bad today and he just laughed at me and said it was about time I got a taste of my own medicine. I am looking forward to going back. I will take my Pro XL next time, it seemed to be more stable and handle the junk much better today. And brother in my best Redneck Slang -Imugitcha -next time. LOL
Token Has the Swatstika emblem on one side says " Membership emblem for the don't worry club" and GOOD LUCK .... ( Like I could have used some today...LOL)
On the reverse says " Good for $.50 on a $10.00 Cash purchase of clothing, shoes, hats and furniture " Lester Bros. Alexandria Tenn.

nice token is that a nazi era token?

John, Love the token I enjoy finding them more than coins and even trying to look up the history of it. Know exactly what you mean about getting you but kicked my buddies have been doing it to me. We have been looking for deep coins and my XLT has been a little short on the depth but got my Hot Shot coil yesterday now we'll see.
If I not mistaken the symbol was a lucky piece before the Germans used it in WW2 and I believe it was a battle flag in the civil war from a unit i think up around New York.

You'll Gettum next time,
Jimmy

Very nice John! :) Heil dur john37115!

Dave,

That symbol long time ago well before WW2 use to mean "Good Luck". But anymore we really can not use it for that anymore. The Cub Scout used that symbol for a long time also.

John what settings are you using on the EX II. ?

Love that token!! 8) I would much rather find that one than the thousand tax tokens I find! :D

Congrats! Nana~

The "Don't Worry Club" again.

I have some 1930's tokens from them, including one from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair.

It has nothing to do with Hindus, Nazis, or others.

Thanks for the info. guys/gals. I did know that the token had nothing to do with Nazi's. Thanks to previous post a read sometime back on T-Net of all places. Just never thought I would find one. Gypsy gal you are the shiznit you have probably forgotten more history than I'll ever know LOL I am amazed with your knowledge. Thanks

DigginFl I was running -advanced-varibles 7-sounds continuity for most of the day, then tried ferrous it was a constant low moaning and alot of high squeaks (Iron mask -10)- fast on deep off to much Iron -sensitivity 12 any higher started falsing. Just having to go at a snails pace to hear the good signals. Running the stock 10.5" Coil

Nice finds, John. Love that token!

;) RR

Thanks RR Have you killed or maimed your a$$ for the stunt he pulled yet? By the way I love the tools and don't let that put a damper on the thrill you had finding them. He meant well.

You might note also that this design is not of a typical swastica; it's backwards; shaped like someone on one knee facing left versus right on the 'traditional' swastica.
