Nothing Colonial

While doing one of my random sweeps through the woods, not exactly random, this area would be a shortcut off the road between two important colonial sites.
found a small enameled brooch, and 3 wheats (a '16 & 2 '17s) at the base of a scenic rock outcropping. The remains of a romantic interlude? who knows, that's one of the things that make this hobby so interesting.
