Had some time to kill, so i went to a spot on some familys land, where the confederate army retreated to, after the siege of Ironton. There is an old spring the confederates watered their horses. Union soldiers held them off for 3 hours, a company of federals pursued the enemy forces to Shepherd mountian. Another fight broke out at the spring. Union army was in a kill zone as the confederates has a rifle volly up top and fired down on union soldiers.

That bullet is a 70 cal fired out of a british enfield... i never grow tired of digging up bullets... i still get excited
