Hunted with hubby. We had three hunts at the same city park, and a hunt at a high school today. Our Garrett Pro Pointer has been knick named Penny for the obvious reason! Also ordered a new Pro pointer for hubby...been hunting together every weekend for 3 months now and he definitely needs his own! We have great weather in San Antonio, but can only surface hunt the city parks on our park permit. That is a bummer!

You need to ask permission and get your self onto private property so you can dig!

I live in San Antonio also. They list a lot of parks they will give you permission to hunt. But like you say most or for surface finds. Not a detector friendly place.
