Probably just me, since nobody else is asking......but what does H= stand for under Recovery Speed and Iron Bias ?? Thanks !!

“H”= higher as in if you set the number higher then the response as described will happen.

I started a cheat sheet on the Equinox 800 from what I learned here, with Youtube videos on the Equinox and other MD forums and Clive Clylnick's two Equinox books in a short word document.
Sucker turned into 5 pages single spaced.

Speaking of cheat sheets, I made this one up when I biught my 600 to help with target ID. Now I mainly hunt by tones, but the numbers make a nice reference. The identifiers all came from someone who had them posted online.

Here is my cheat sheet of my most common targets:

8-9: 22 lead bullet
10-12: 22 shell
13-14: smaller gauge shotgun headstamps
15-16: larger shotgun headstamps
17: rusty nail
17-19: bouncy modern shotgun shells plastic/brass
20-21: brass bullet slug
22-24: old can top
23: mason jar lid
