I am not sure what you are asking.
Are you asking about aluminum twist caps or steel bottle caps?

Yea, my Pro has iron audio. If I'm not sure of the target, I move the iron disc. To 35 and switch on Iron audio. It will tell you 99% of the time if it's trash.It will make a grunt sound usually on both sides of the target. And usually if I still have a solid signal say 81 and a grunt sound next to it in iron audio,I'll dig it. My question was, how do you know if it's say a coin or junk besides digging it. Is there a bottle cap mode to notch those out? Sorry I didn't explain well enough.

I hate screw aluminum caps. Fortunately, relic hunting we almost never find them.
