Hey everyone,
Really hope you are all doing well and staying healthy and safe. I’m still really enjoying the Nox 800 and having a fun time learning it. The weather has been up and down in the Pacific Northwest but has opened up some opportunities to get out. Here’s a day-by-day recap of a few outings over the last week.
Sunday (4/19)
My brother and I got out for a bit a couple Sundays ago (don’t worry, we stayed far apart). It was a pretty quick outing but I was pumped to pull out a couple pieces of silver; a 925 elephant ring and an 800 silver pin/brooch.

Tuesday
Tuesday turned into an unexpectedly awesome day. It started out with a silver rosie.

A while later I found a thimble. I’ve found a few thimbles before but they’ve always been aluminum or brass. Not this time!

I couldn’t believe it. My first silver thimble and it has some beautiful engraving! My very next signal was this neat Junior Game Warden button.

All in all, I came out with a pretty decent haul for a short hunt on Tuesday.

Wednesday
I was feeling motivated after my good outing on Tuesday and decided to go out again in the pouring rain. I got absolutely spanked for multiple hours. I was sopping wet with little to show for it. I decided if I found a silver coin I would just go home. Just a little while later:

Found what I was looking for lol. Tried a couple more holes and then called it a day.

Friday
I had originally planned to do some beach detecting on Saturday but the weather looked good on Friday and crummy on Saturday. That was enough for me.

Had a fun time poking around and ended up with a silver ring, silver cufflink (?), a couple Indians (1887 and 1904), an organ reed and several wheats.

Sunday (Yesterday)
I lined up some promising places to check out with my brother. It was a slow day for me but I was happy to see him reel in a couple rosies.
My top finds were a hem weight, 1954 Jefferson Nickel, an older style (junk) earring and 4 wheats.

All in all another fun week in the books. I’ll probably get out a couple times this week and then sadly, I think my detecting time will start dwindling for a while. My wife and I close on a house May 8th and I anticipate a lot of my discretionary time going toward house projects for a while.
Thanks for looking as always all and good luck!
