Well...

If your "3" can be seen from the ground? then yes. But if you only see it from google earth? then it will be seen from the ground as 3 hills or peaks. If you have a map with a "3" in it and you want to know if it is the right 3 ? then look around for other markers that match up with your map. This is all that i can tell you right now but i hope that it answers your question.

Sounds like you're onto something. What exactly? i'm not sure without seeing the picture or knowing the location. I would suggest that you look around or even climb a high point in that area and take pictures of the area near you and far away. Then see if it matches any maps that are online or even the peralta stones.
