Took advantage of the unbelievably mild weather to explore some cellar hole sites in the old park woods. The ring had me puzzled, came out looking silver but only rung up 9/10 on Equinox. Thought it might be an old platinum signet ring, but it’s highly magnetic. Posted to the What’s It group and Dan identified it as a stainless steel nut ring. Always something interesting coming out of the old dirt. Thx

More great finds - well done !

Nice digs. Fancy half of a sash belt too. I have to admit I was a bit afraid to look up "nut ring" on Google.

Nice finds! I learned something new! Thanks!

One of those Indians and that V nickel are in unbelievable condition- Congrats for all those great finds!

Coins hold up well in that soil, I love the patina on that darkest indian cent.
