Time for some help for those of us living on the coasts.

Obamahurricane Care. All home owners will be required to purchase hurricane insurance no matter where they live.

This will allow homeowners living on the coast who can't afford to purchase hurricane insurance to have their hurricane insurance subsidized by those living in the Midwest and all those who never needed hurricane insurance because they lived inland and had substandard homeowners insurances to now be covered from hurricanes.

We will NOT go quitely into the night!

Although I realize this was a joke thread, the comical theory behind it is still the same as Obammycare itself. Legally forcing certain citizens to give up a product they are very pleased with and ordering them to purchase something they do not need, do not want, at a great deal of additional cost in many cases, with a hugher deductible than they had previosly, all in order to fund medical insurance for the millions who don't have any because they use their money for other things or are just living off the system. Funny thing is, I doubt those folks will actually BUY this anyway. Same thing as your example.

You can buy private insurance, I have in the past.

Only a Socialist party would be forcing people to buy an insurance policy they don't want to cover health issues they will never ever have in order to subsidize others who dont work to have insurance.

If you get insurance through a small company you might be surprised at how much the company is paying for you, It is a bonus to you just the same as profit sharing and Christmas bonuses. Until people became so greedy and ignorant they understood how much the company valued you as an employee with that insurance.

Usually you could buy insurance on your own cheaper than the small companies pay for your portion.
