Scouted a couple of new places this weekend. I had to fight the weather and the saw briers. The place I hunted friday after work was flooded today. On friday I dug the two ring bullet that Quindy identified as a colt revolver rifle bullet, #116 in the book. The three ring bullet is #141 which I have never dug in this area before. Are they common in abody's area? This place has potenial if I can get back in there. All of the other things from the pic came from this afternoons hunt. The pistol bullet I think is post civil war although it is old. I came upon a old dump. A bottle hunters dream. I'm not into bottle hunting but I picked up a few. The cork bottle neck has flats all around it. I wish I could found it intact. The two clear bottles have Jergens wrote on the bottom. Can anyone tell me how old they are? From what I saw I think the dump is fifties back. The rabies tag is from 1957. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I know these finds aren't much but it was great just to be out. HH, Andy
