odd coin find, 3 ,1964 nickles

Had about an hour of down time today thought i would get out my detector for a bit.. found 2 or 3 toy cars, only 1 nail today, but found an interesting spot, all the change was in a one foot area .dug a quarter 1976, a 1954 nickle. 1958 nickle, and 3-1964 nickles all in about 4-5 inches of soil,, my wife thought that was odd to find 3 of the same yr coins,,,,,,,,how is the best way to clean the coins took me a good 30 minutes of elbow grease just get the dates

1964 is a common year for nickels, so I don't think it's unusual for a drop like that. If you want to go through the trouble of cleaning them, try using a brass brush on your nickels. HH

thanks HH , yea i think i,ll clean most of my coins unless i find some that are worth more than face value
