So far I'm finding a lot of junk. I think Fred Sanford may have lived here. There's so much junk in the ground I've just decided to just dig everything. An old spring, some flat iron.
An old brass flare nut so worn you can hardly see the flats. With some pliers bites.
An old handle from a pan, or something to hang the Christmas wreath?
A broken farm implement maybe?
I think this looks like an old screw in type electrical fuse.
An old paper hull shotgun shell. Most of the paper had rotted away.
Not sure what this was. It isn't magnetic. Aluminum cone shape 1/4" down to 1/8" with 40 perforated holes and two small pin on type holes on the big end.
There's no telling what else I'll find but I'm interested. Maybe around the old flower beds
