odd penny error 1974 please help

My name is brenden and im still new to collecting coins, but I found this penny today and thought it looked rather interesting. I dont know if the cut marks are from the mint or just random wear and tear, but I did notice that the date 1986 is also printed on the obverse side but its backwards. I believe I have my first real error coin. Any input would be much appreciated

It was done after the mint. The coin is 1974 and the backwards date is 1986... someone took 2 coins and put them together in a vise or hit them hard with a hammer to get the 1986 impression. Keep searching...

Maybe you could experiment (if you have a vice) & reproduce a similar coin.
