Odd Piece of Lead

Hello. Found this lead piece a few days ago at a 1910 homestead. It is a bit larger than a Hershey Kiss candy piece...kinda looks like one too. What do you think? Hem weight? Counter weight? Unknown piece o nothin'?

Agreed on the spure. Are there any signs of shrinkage on the flat part?
