I still do not know what link!! The link to send an email to Mike Diamond or the link to the Google Search for coins showing Feeder Damage?? If the latter, I have downloaded the pics of a 2003-P Arkansas Quarter that suffered damage to the coin and to the Die as well.

and in the picture you provided - do you see any details from the coin missing ---NO! you see scratches.
google it and then you will see the difference. What you have posted is/may be feeder damage. Not even close to what the OP posted

what the OP posted was definetly from a grease filled die.

COINSITE - defintion of grease filled die
Generally, missing digits or mint marks on modern coins are due to filled die errors where dirt, grease or debris fills the recesses of a die not allowing the number or mark to strike up. The metal from the blank can’t flow into that area to receive the impression. This problem usually only lasts for one or two coins until the foreign material falls out of the die.

I could be and am likely wrong in my assessment of the coin and will await a post of Mike Diamond's assessment. At the same time, I just can't go along with the other assessments which may or may not be wrong as well. I have seen a lot of coins and especially Lincoln Cents and even own some that were struck thru grease but have never seen one with lines or striations all running parallel in the same direction. If grease on the a face of a Die or in Date digits, Lettering or images moves (is forced) across the face of the Die and across the planchet that is being struck, it moves from the points of relief on the Die that create higher pressure and most often, it does not travel in a straight line.

First, welcome to the forum. It's always best to start your own topic. What are you seeing that's different about your coin? If you mean the condition it's quite normal to find older coins in circulation in good condition.

the "brassy" look is "technically" an error caused by improper annealing, causing the zinc to migrate into the pure copper changing the color. fairly common on SOME Zincolns. not so much on the 95% coppers. I sold a "brass" zincoln a few months back for about $10--- looked like a brass plumbing fixture-- nearly gold in color

It is a grease filled die, as several others have already correctly identified. No need for any expert to chime in on this one. Worth less than $20. To the OP regarding the "link not working" comments. Dude... It is an email address. Regarding the 1959 cent: What about it? Perhaps start a new thread if you wish to discuss your coin.
