Is nome alaska the only place known where there are large deposits of gold of shore?

I do know there 0thers area around the west coast and ak that r similar

I just don't think they have the high grades or maybie there worked over already

Iv have terd of other beach deposits
Usally these r formed from glacial movements
But I don't know of particular spots

Nome is the way it is because of the remoteness

Anywhere along the west coast where gold bearing rivers meet the ocean. I've heard the beaches from San fran all the way up to Oregon have fine gold on the beaches.

I know oregon has the equivalent of a NOI that specifies beach high banking. Here in cal though, youre likely to get shot by a ranger for trying to prospect any beaches...
